Anita Parris is a jewellery maker living in Christchurch, New Zealand. A graduate of history of art, design and film in the Modern period from Leicester Polytechnic (UK), her dissertation was written about Dr Marten boots. Since then she has worked at London’s Design Museum, the Royal College of Art and Sotheby’s. She currently works at Te Puna O Waiwhetu Christchurch Art Gallery as a Visitor Host. She is known for being eagle-eyed, a perfectionist and frugal – all good attributes for a maker.
Anita has been making jewellery since 2012, and is a Member of the Silversmiths’ Guild of Canterbury located in Christchurch.
